Leo put him on Hot Seat last year and asked who is role model was. Besides his looks, he has no resume, no sports, awards, or good grades. Everybody knows him as the most popular guy due to his sheer gorgeousness. People also know her for dating Wayne Parr, he is the "Grand Marshall" of the school. She just wanted to prove that should could make it even though she really thinks cheerleaders are dumb. The hoax was when she tried out for cheerleadering team, made the team, then quit. She always complains and people hear about it 24/7. She is known cause of her mouth, the hoax, and Wayne Parr.
She is misses popular and everybody knows her. Section 2: We learn more about Hillari Kimble in this chapter. She embraces it, while the people I have seen normally act really shy and quiet. Seeing how she handles the new environment is much different than the usual new kids I have seen. Questions: Why does Hillary not like her? Will people start liking Stargirl? Stargirl sits at lunch and plays and sings with her ukulele, she even sings happy birthday to people. Everyone starts to believe her and that Stargirl is a plant made by the school to boost school spirit. Then we meet Hillari Kimble who claims that Stargirl is not real. Kevin has the idea to interview her on their show called "The Hot Seat." Leo is a little resistant. Leo say she has the biggest eyes he has ever seen, and that she is not gorgeous but not ugly.

Then the story fast forwards to Leo, and his friend Kevin showing up to the first day of school. Leo collects these neckties, and when he arrives to Arizona he is given a mysterious package that has a porcupine necktie in it. His uncle had a purple porcupine necktie and gave it to him. Section 1: We are introduced to a kid by the name of Leo, he has to move to Arizona.
